Die Angst greift um sich. Frauen, die sich einer Brust-OP (Brustvergrößerung oder einer Korrektur der Brust bei einer Fehlbildung) unterzogen haben, bei der Silikonkissen verwendet wurden, sind sich nicht mehr sicher. Der Skandal um die französische Firma P.I.P., die bei der Herstellung einiger Silikonkissen minderwertiges Silikon verwendet hat, ist nicht nur in Frankreich ein Thema. Das Unternehmen hat auch Silikonkissen nach Deutschland und in andere europäische Länder verkauft. Selbst Frauen in Übersee sind betroffen. Lt. der letzten Pressemitteilung des Bundesinstituts für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte vom 06.01.2012 kann es durch das minderwertige Silikon zur Rissbildung in den Gelkissen kommen. Doch selbst, wenn das Silikonkissen keine Risse aufweist, muss es entfernt werden, da das Silikon auch durch „ausschwitzen“ austreten kann. Wer solche Implantate hat, sitzt auf einer tickenden Bombe. Entzündungen sind dabei noch die harmlose Folge. Bei einem Teil der Frauen wurde Brustkrebs diagnostiziert. Die Vermutung liegt nah, dass die fehlerhaften Kissen dafür die Ursache sind.

Plastische Chirurgie ist Vertrauenssache

Natürlich sind auch Patientinnen meiner Praxis, Dr. med. P. Amini, beunruhigt. Verständlich, können doch die falschen Silikongelkissen weitreichende Folgen für die Patientin haben. Für mich ist plastische Chirurgie Vertrauenssache. Haben Sie sich zu einem Eingriff entschlossen, möchten Sie zu Recht sichergehen, beste Ergebnisse zu erhalten. Deshalb setze ich nur auf Hersteller, die meinen und Ihren hohen Anforderungen genügen. Keine meiner Patientinnen ist in den Skandal um die französische Firma P.I.P involviert.

How does the Ultherapy procedure work?

As with other ultrasound procedures, a smooth applicator placed upon your skin projects an image onto a screen that allows your practitioner to plan where the energy will be sent.
